I love that it contains recommendations from real travelers. This book contains a wealth of info and I have used it as a base for researching and planning my upcoming trip to Ireland. Written very well and is extremely informative.
My husband and I have used it to plan our upcoming trip to Ireland. We found many helpful hints, and we have even booked a room at one of his recommended B&Bs. The book was exactly as described. We love Rick Steves and his plethora of knowledge about Europe and travelling. We feel so much more comfortable travelling to a foreign country now that we have read his book.Thanks. Mint/New condition, shipped quickly. The book is last year's model, but not much has changed in one year (hopefully).
It recommends buying some passes that will save you money in visiting many of the sights. It has really helped me a lot in planning our visit this fall. I like this book because it gives an indicator ranking to let you determine which attractions are worht spending time at and you can then determine how best to plan your limited travel days. There are also many trips for traveling in Ireland from tourist information spots, walking tours, money changing, phones laundry, and what not to do.
I will not travel without the book. I used Rick Steve's books traveling throughout Europe and find they are the best. His recommendations are great, not tourist traps.
It gave us several great Bed & Breakfasts to stay in and also suggested what to see and what NOT to see.Thanks. We are planning a trip to Ireland in April and this book was great.
